Privacy notice
This privacy notice tells you what to expect when we collect personal information whilst visiting our site. Whenever you provide such information we will only use your information in line with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data
When registering for a course offered on our site, it is necessary for us to collect some of your data in order to correctly process your registration. We only store the necessary amount of data for the legitimate purpose of processing your registration and to verify your details at the course location.
For any further questions or data requests, please contact us at bart@bartbaesens.com.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies (small text files which are stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages) to understand how our site is used. Currently, we make use of the following first-party cookies on this site:
- A session cookie; this is necessary for our site to work correctly, for instance to keep track of logged in administrators or to keep track of your registration progress, last visited course, and feedback messages shown on the site.
Additionally, the following parties might also set cookies on your browser:
- Stripe - our payment provider; this is necessary to keep track of and to process your payments on this site, and to prevent abuse and fraud. See https://stripe.com/be/privacy for more information on how Stripe processes your data.
- Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; these are set by the social "share this" media buttons that appear on some of our pages. Note that we do not store, process, or can access your data on these accounts in any way. Please refer to your social media's privacy policies to learn how these manage and process your data.
- Our site uses Google Analytics which help us to track visitor amounts over time. Google Analytics will report the following results based on your Internet (IP) address and surfing behaviour:
- Location (estimated)
- Pages visited
We only collect a minimum amount of information from Google Analytics in order to obtain visitor statistics and have not configured Google Analytics to collect demographic data such as age, gender and interest reports. Visitor behaviour is aggregated, and Google Analytics does not allow us to identify single identifiable visitors across time or see behaviour at others websites you visit.
