BlueCourses

BlueCourses was founded by Bart Baesens and Tim Verdonck. After having experienced some serious health problems, they both retrospectively reflected upon our lives and wondered what we still wanted to accomplish in life. That’s how the BlueCourses concept originated!

Their mission statement with BlueCourses is twofold. First, disseminate knowledge by offering on-line courses on a variety of topics. The courses will be delivered by internationally recognized colleague professors in the field. The courses will provide a sound mix of theoretical concepts and methods combined with practical insights and case studies. To optimize the learning experience, the courses will be interactively designed with multiple choice questions and discussions. Certificates will be provided upon course completion.

Their second goal is to contribute towards cleaning up our precious oceans from plastic. Hence, 20% of BlueCourses' EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) will be donated to companies involved in ocean cleanup activity. See www.bluecourses.com for more information.
