Social Network Analytics (E-learning)
🌍 English
This short course discusses social network analytics. We start by discussing various applications of social networks. We then discuss how to use social networks both in a descriptive and predictive way. Although the course focusses on fraud detection, the ideas presented can be easily applied in other networked based settings such as churn prediction, recommender systems and response modeling. The course provides a sound mix of both theoretical and technical insights, as well as practical implementation details. These are illustrated by several real-life case studies and examples. Throughout the course, the instructors also extensively report upon their research and industry experience.
The course features more than 1.5 hours of video lectures, more than 20 multiple choice questions, and references to background literature. A certificate signed by the instructors is provided upon successful completion.
